We are a creative full service agency that builds visionary brands. Founded in 2015, beacon + bowery provides graphic design assistance, product design, branding and trend direction to companies and individuals primarily in the home decor, fashion accessories and sporting goods industries.
Jacqueline Carrington
Founder + Creative Director
Always with a creative eye, Jacqueline is an artist with a varied textile design background. She studied at Carnegie Mellon's School of Fine Arts, earned her BFA in Textile Design from California College of the Arts in 2006 and attended the Fashion Institute of Technology for postgraduate studies. Jacqueline worked with Madeline Weinrib at ABC Carpet & Home in New York City as a designer and studio manager and TJX Corporation as a product designer. Jacqueline has also devoted her time and skills to design textiles for non-profit organizations such as Aid to Artisans and The Aspen Institute.
She has lived in Connecticut, Oakland, New York, and currently resides in Boston with her husband Edward and their two boys Ted and Charlie. Her numerous collaborative experiences have inspired her creatively, and were the catalyst for the creation of beacon + bowery.
Abigail Taylor
Partner + Lead Designer
As lead designer at beacon + bowery, I bring a diverse and extensive background in design, having worked across multiple industries and roles, from leading marketing design teams to developing innovative product concepts. My career began in the fast-paced world of TJX Corporation where I honed my skills in product design, trend design, and product development.
From designing eye-catching packaging for major retailers like Target and Amazon, to directing photoshoots and crafting high-quality visual content, I’ve always been driven by the intersection of creativity and functionality.
My experience spans designing intricate textiles for fashion accessories, developing trend-forward products for the home, and collaborating with both domestic and overseas teams to ensure seamless production. With a strong foundation in Adobe Suite, I approach every project with a focus on telling impactful stories through design.
